Privacy

What the finished policy needs to cover, under the Australian Privacy Act:

Restaurant owners

• What we collect at sign-up: name, restaurant details, email, password (stored only as a hash in the app)
• Payments are handled by Stripe; card numbers never reach Plateline
• How long we keep account and billing records

Guests of restaurants

• Names, phone numbers and emails that guests give when they book or order
• That each restaurant controls its own guest data, and Plateline stores it on the restaurant's behalf
• Phone call recordings and transcripts, once the AI phone add-on is live

Everyone

• Where data is stored, and the services Plateline uses (hosting, Stripe, Twilio, Anthropic)
• How to see, correct or delete your information
• How to make a complaint, and a contact address
